Fast to run, and built properly for the parts that make your store different. Shopify and Shopify Plus take hosting, security and checkout off your hands. The work is in everything around them: the catalogue, pricing, integrations and the customisations that make your store yours. We build those properly, and move stores onto Shopify without losing data or rankings.
Where you're starting from
Where you go next is decided in the Blueprint. Sometimes the answer is to upgrade.
You want to stop running servers and patching extensions. We move products, customers, order history and URLs across, and rebuild the integrations your store depends on.
A Shopify store with your data and rankings intact.
A dozen apps, each solving one problem and slowing the store down. Shopify Plus features such as checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions, B2B and expansion stores often replace several of them.
We cut the app stack and build what's left properly.
Checkout customisations built on the older checkout.liquid approach have to move to Shopify's Checkout Extensibility. We audit what you have and rebuild it on the supported model.
Checkout rebuilt on Checkout Extensibility.
Shopify is quick to launch, which is exactly why migrations onto it go wrong: URL structures change, apps get added to fill gaps, and integrations are left to whatever connector was cheapest.
Shopify uses fixed URL patterns, so every old product and category URL is mapped and redirected before launch.
Products, variants, metafields, customers and order history mapped and rehearsed with real data.
Apps chosen deliberately, with custom functions where an app would slow the store or add a monthly fee for little.
ERP, PIM, stock and fulfilment integrations built to keep one system of record per field.
Trade accounts, price lists and payment terms set up on Shopify's B2B features or custom where they fall short.
Theme built to WCAG 2.2 AA, including product pages and checkout extensions.

Forty years of trade knowledge, very clear ideas about the CMS, and a catalogue that had to be right first time.

Standard Shopify suits many stores. Plus adds checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions, B2B, expansion stores and higher limits. If several of your apps exist to work around those gaps, Plus is often cheaper overall.
Usually, yes. Shopify uses fixed paths for products and collections, which is why every old URL is mapped to its new one and redirected before launch.
Often, through Shopify's B2B features on Plus. Where the pricing rules are more complex, we build them with Shopify Functions or move the logic into your ERP.
Yes, with Hydrogen or another front end on Shopify's Storefront API. It suits stores with heavy content or several channels, and adds cost, so we only recommend it when it pays back.
Sometimes. It depends on your catalogue, pricing rules, integrations and how much customisation you need. Discovery compares running costs over several years, not only the build.
Once a Shopify site is live, our sister company WebsiteSupport.io keeps it patched, monitored, hosted and improving.
